Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-visit planning, and rooming responsibilities, and assist with clinical procedures to support patient care.
- Provide clear discharge instructions and ensure patients are informed and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient visits and ensure high-quality care.
- Cross-train and float between departments as needed to maintain efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification or registration required
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Epic experience required
Additional Information:
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Job Type: Contract – 13 weeks - *Possible Extension*
- Schedule: 5x8 morning shift – Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 am
- Local Pay Range: $ 23.00 to 30.00 hourly
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
